Three weeks from now Air New Zealand will receive their custom painted Airbus A320.
Everybody knows the Kiwis are, let’s say, different from ordinary folks so they thought it would be a good idea not to be shy about it and paint it on one of their new Airbusses.
The new A320 expresses how crazy the Kiwis are about rugby. Air New Zealand has been the official sponsor of the National Rugby League for 17 years about time.
The plane was assembled in Toulouse and flown to Hamburg where the interior will be fitted (will it be All Black too?). The video shows in time-lapse how to build a plane and spray paint it, by hand(!). All Black, of course.
BTW did you know Air New Zealand has flight safety instruction films featuring the All Blacks players?
Watching the video (with subtitles!) I can understand why they are crazy about rugby.
